Zahar Bakutin is a Russian photographer who has been capturing stunning images of his homeland since the early 2000s. Born in Moscow, Russia, he developed an interest in photography at a young age and began taking pictures of his family and friends.

He soon realized that he had a talent for capturing the beauty of his surroundings and decided to pursue photography as a career. After graduating from college, Zahar moved to St. Petersburg where he began working as a freelance photographer. He quickly gained recognition for his unique style of photography which focused on capturing the beauty of everyday life in Russia.

Throughout his career, Zahar has traveled extensively throughout Russia and Europe, photographing everything from landscapes to cityscapes to people. His work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian. He has also exhibited his work in galleries around the world including London’s Tate Modern and Moscow’s Multimedia Art Museum.

In addition to his photographic work, Zahar is also an accomplished filmmaker who has directed several short films about life in Russia. His films have been screened at festivals around the world including Cannes Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival.
