Yannis Meynadier is a French photographer and visual artist based in Paris. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.

Meynadier was born in Paris in 1983. He studied photography at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France, where he graduated with honors in 2006. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and publications.

In 2008, Meynadier was awarded the Prix de la Photographie by the French Ministry of Culture for his series of photographs entitled “The Other Side of the Wall” which documented the lives of people living on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This series was exhibited at numerous galleries throughout Europe and North America.

In 2010, Meynadier released his first book “The Other Side of the Wall” which featured photographs from his award-winning series as well as essays from renowned writers such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Albert Camus. The book was widely praised by critics and won several awards including the Prix du Livre Photo from the French Ministry of Culture.

Meynadier has since gone on to work with some of the world’s leading fashion houses such as Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Yves Saint Laurent. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine. He has also collaborated with some of today’s most influential artists such as Marina Abramovic and Damien Hirst on various projects.

In addition to his commercial work, Meynadier continues to pursue personal projects that explore themes such as identity politics and social justice issues around the world. His work has been exhibited at galleries around Europe including Centre Pompidou in Paris and Tate Modern in London.
