Warren du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones

Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones are a South African photography duo who have been working together since the late 1990s. They are known for their surreal, dreamlike images that often feature bold colors and unexpected juxtapositions.

Du Preez and Thornton Jones met while studying at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. After graduating, they began collaborating on projects that combined their individual styles of photography. Their work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, i-D, Dazed & Confused, and The New York Times Magazine.

The duo has also worked with a variety of high-profile clients including Nike, Adidas, Apple, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola. In addition to commercial work, they have also created several short films and music videos for artists such as Björk and Massive Attack.

Du Preez and Thornton Jones have exhibited their work in galleries around the world including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. They have also received numerous awards for their photography including a Cannes Lion Award for Best Photography Campaign in 2008.
