Vera Biriukova is a Russian-born photographer and visual artist based in New York City. She is best known for her vibrant and colorful photographs of everyday life, which often feature people in their natural environment.

Born in Moscow, Russia, Vera Biriukova grew up surrounded by art and culture. Her father was an artist and her mother was a fashion designer, so it was only natural that she developed an interest in the visual arts from a young age. She began taking photographs at the age of 12, and soon after she enrolled in the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts to study photography.

After graduating from university, Vera moved to New York City to pursue her career as a professional photographer. She quickly established herself as one of the most sought-after photographers in the city, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, GQ and many more. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.

Vera’s photography is characterized by its vibrant colors and its ability to capture everyday moments with an artistic eye. Her work often features people interacting with their environment or simply enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Vera has also been praised for her ability to capture emotion through her photographs – something that has become increasingly important in today’s digital world.

Today Vera continues to work as a professional photographer while also teaching classes on photography at various universities around New York City. She is also an active member of several photography organizations such as Women Photograph and The Society for Photographic Education (SPE).
