Txema Yeste is a Spanish fashion photographer who has been working in the industry for over two decades. He is known for his unique and creative approach to photography, often combining elements of art and fashion to create stunning images.
Born in Barcelona, Spain in 1971, Yeste began his career as a photographer at the age of 18. After studying photography at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Barcelona, he began working as an assistant to renowned photographers such as Mario Testino and David Lachapelle.
In 1997, Yeste moved to New York City where he worked with some of the most influential names in fashion including Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and Tommy Hilfiger. His work has been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, GQ and Marie Claire. He has also shot campaigns for major brands like Nike and Adidas.
Yeste’s work is characterized by its bold use of color and light as well as its strong sense of composition. He often uses unexpected angles and perspectives to create dynamic images that capture the essence of his subjects. His work has been praised for its ability to capture emotion and beauty in a single frame.
In addition to his commercial work, Yeste has also created several personal projects including “The Beauty Project” which explores beauty through the eyes of different cultures around the world. He has also published several books featuring his photography including “Txema Yeste: A Visual Journey” (2008) and “The Beauty Project: A Photographic Exploration” (2010).
Yeste currently lives in Barcelona with his wife and two children where he continues to pursue his passion for photography.
