About

Tuna Boon is a Dutch photographer and visual artist based in Amsterdam. She is known for her unique and creative approach to photography, which often combines elements of nature, fashion, and portraiture.

Boon began her career as a photographer in the early 2000s, when she was still a student at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Her most notable project is “The Garden of Eden” series, which was shot in various locations around the world and featured models wearing elaborate costumes inspired by nature. This series was exhibited at several galleries around Europe and received critical acclaim from both art critics and fans alike.

Boon has also collaborated with numerous fashion designers over the years, including Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, and Jean Paul Gaultier. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Elle France, Marie Claire Italy, GQ Japan, and many more.

Today Boon continues to work as a freelance photographer while also pursuing her own personal projects. She is currently working on a new series that explores the relationship between humans and nature through photography.
