Torbjorn Rodland is a Norwegian photographer and visual artist whose work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. Born in Stavanger, Norway in 1972, Rodland studied photography at the University of Bergen before moving to London in 1997.

Rodland's work is characterized by its surreal and dreamlike quality, often featuring everyday objects and people in unexpected contexts. His photographs often explore themes of identity, memory, and nostalgia. He has been described as a "poet of the everyday" for his ability to capture the beauty of ordinary moments.

Rodland's work has been featured in numerous solo exhibitions including shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oslo, The Photographers' Gallery in London, and The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. His photographs have also been included in group exhibitions at institutions such as Tate Modern, The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and The Centre Pompidou.

In addition to his photographic practice, Rodland has also published several books including "The Garden" (2003), "The House" (2005), and "The Forest" (2008). He has also collaborated with fashion designers such as Jil Sander and Comme des Garçons on various projects.

Rodland currently lives and works between London and Oslo.
