Tomas Falmer is a renowned photographer from Sweden who has been capturing stunning images of nature and landscapes for over two decades. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of traditional landscape photography with a modern, abstract approach.
Born in Stockholm in 1975, Tomas developed an interest in photography at an early age. He began taking pictures of his surroundings and soon realized that he had a natural talent for capturing the beauty of nature. After graduating from high school, he decided to pursue his passion and enrolled in the University of Gothenburg to study photography.
During his studies, Tomas developed a strong interest in landscape photography and began to travel around Sweden to capture its stunning scenery. His work quickly gained recognition and he was soon featured in several magazines and exhibitions. In 2003, he released his first book “The Landscape of Sweden” which showcased some of his most impressive photographs.
Since then, Tomas has continued to travel around the world capturing breathtaking images of nature and landscapes. He has also won several awards including the Hasselblad Award for Photography in 2011 and the Swedish Royal Academy Award for Photography in 2013.
