Thom Kerr is an Australian photographer and director based in Los Angeles. He is best known for his fashion and beauty photography, which has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, GQ, and Marie Claire.
Kerr began his career as a photographer in Sydney, Australia in the early 2000s. He quickly gained recognition for his unique style of photography that combined fashion and art. His work has been featured in numerous campaigns for brands such as Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Calvin Klein.
In 2011, Kerr moved to Los Angeles to further pursue his career as a photographer and director. Since then he has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian West, and Nicki Minaj. He has also directed music videos for artists such as Zedd and Selena Gomez.
Kerr's work has been exhibited around the world including at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. In 2017 he was awarded the International Center of Photography Infinity Award for Applied/Fashion/Advertising Photography.
