Tereza Janakova is a Czech photographer and visual artist based in Prague. She is best known for her unique and captivating photographs of the natural world, which often feature animals, landscapes, and other elements of nature.
Janakova was born in Prague in 1988. She developed an interest in photography at a young age, and began taking pictures of her family and friends when she was just a child. As she grew older, she began to explore the world around her through her camera lens. She studied photography at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where she graduated with honors in 2011.
Since then, Janakova has become an internationally renowned photographer. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Her photographs have also been published in magazines such as Vogue Italia and Harper’s Bazaar.
In addition to her photography work, Janakova is also an active environmentalist who works to raise awareness about climate change and other environmental issues through her art. She has collaborated with various organizations such as Greenpeace to create campaigns that highlight the importance of protecting our planet’s natural resources.
