Tassos Vrettos is a Greek photographer and visual artist based in Athens, Greece. He is best known for his work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.
Vrettos was born in Athens in 1975 and began his career as a photographer at the age of 18. He studied photography at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and went on to pursue a degree in Visual Arts from the University of West Attica.
Throughout his career, Vrettos has worked with some of the most renowned fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, GQ, and L'Officiel. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
In addition to his commercial work, Vrettos has also produced several documentary projects focusing on social issues such as immigration and poverty. His work has been published by The Guardian, The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic Magazine, and many other publications.
Vrettos is also an active member of the Greek photography community and regularly participates in workshops and lectures around Greece. He is currently working on a new project exploring the relationship between humans and nature.
