Takako Noel is a Japanese-American photographer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her vibrant and colorful photographs of everyday life.

Noel was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1983. She moved to the United States at the age of 10 and grew up in Los Angeles. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she studied photography and art history. After graduating, she began working as a freelance photographer for various publications including Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.

Noel’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, Japan; The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas; The National Portrait Gallery in London; and The International Center of Photography in New York City. Her photographs have also been featured on the covers of magazines such as GQ Japan and Marie Claire Japan.

Noel’s work is characterized by its vibrant colors and its focus on everyday life. She often uses natural light to capture her subjects with a sense of intimacy and warmth that reflects her own personal style. Her photographs are often described as “poetic” due to their dreamy quality and their ability to capture moments that are both fleeting yet timeless.

Noel continues to work as a freelance photographer while also pursuing her own personal projects which explore themes such as identity, family relationships, nature, and nostalgia.
