Steven Sebring

Steven Sebring is an American photographer, filmmaker, and inventor. He is best known for his pioneering work in 360-degree photography and video.

Sebring was born in 1965 in New York City. He studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he graduated with a BFA in 1987. After graduation, he began working as a fashion photographer for magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.

In the early 2000s, Sebring began experimenting with 360-degree photography and video. He developed a unique camera system that allowed him to capture images from all angles simultaneously. This technology has since been used to create immersive experiences for films, television shows, music videos, and other media projects.

In 2008, Sebring released his first feature-length documentary film titled "Patti Smith: Dream of Life." The film was critically acclaimed and won numerous awards including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

In addition to his work as a photographer and filmmaker, Sebring is also an inventor. He holds several patents related to his 360-degree camera system and has developed other innovative technologies such as a robotic camera arm that can be used to capture images from any angle or distance.

Sebring's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. His photographs have also been published in books such as "Steven Sebring: Revolution" (2009) and "Steven Sebring: Dream of Life" (2011).
