Sophie Auster is an American singer-songwriter, photographer, and actress. Born in New York City in 1986, she is the daughter of renowned authors Paul Auster and Siri Hustvedt. She began her career as a musician at the age of 15, releasing her debut album Room to Run in 2003. Her music has been described as a mix of folk, jazz, and pop influences.
In addition to her musical career, Sophie Auster has also established herself as a successful photographer. She has exhibited her work in galleries around the world and published several books of photography. Her work often focuses on themes of identity and self-expression, exploring the relationship between people and their environment.
Auster has also appeared in several films and television shows throughout her career.
