Sohrab Vahdat is an Iranian photographer and visual artist based in Tehran. He was born in Tehran in 1975 and has been taking photographs since he was a child.
Vahdat's work focuses on the everyday life of people living in Iran, often capturing moments of joy, sorrow, and beauty. His photographs have been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Vahdat has also published several books of his photography, including "The Iranian Photobook" (2009) and "The Iranian Portrait" (2013). He has also collaborated with other photographers to create multimedia projects such as "The Iranian Street" (2015).
