Sebastien Cohen is a French photographer and filmmaker based in Paris. He has been working in the field of photography for over 10 years, specializing in fashion, beauty, and portrait photography.
Cohen was born in Paris and grew up surrounded by art and culture. His father was a painter and his mother was a sculptor, so it's no surprise that he developed an interest in the visual arts at an early age. He began taking photographs as a hobby when he was just 12 years old, and soon realized that this was his true passion.
At the age of 18, Cohen enrolled at the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris to study photography. After graduating with honors, he began working as an assistant to some of the most renowned photographers in France. This experience gave him invaluable insight into the world of professional photography and allowed him to hone his craft.
In 2010, Cohen opened his own studio in Paris where he works on commercial projects for clients such as Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, L'Oréal, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and many more. His work has been featured in numerous publications around the world and has earned him numerous awards including the Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3) Gold Award for Fashion Photography (2012).
Cohen is also an accomplished filmmaker who has directed several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. He continues to push boundaries with his work by exploring new techniques and ideas while staying true to his signature style of capturing beauty through light and composition.
