Sean Ellis is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing stunning images for over 20 years. Born in London, England, he developed a passion for photography at an early age and began taking pictures of his friends and family. After studying photography at the University of Westminster, he went on to work as a freelance photographer for various publications including The Sunday Times Magazine, The Guardian, and The Independent.

In 2004, Sean was awarded the prestigious World Press Photo Award for his work in Iraq. This recognition propelled him to international fame and he has since gone on to shoot for some of the world’s most renowned publications such as National Geographic, Time Magazine, and Vanity Fair. His work has taken him around the world from war-torn countries to remote villages in Africa.

In addition to his photography career, Sean is also an accomplished filmmaker. He has directed several documentaries including “The Lost Boys of Sudan” which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2006. He also directed “The Last Days of Shishmaref” which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2008.
