Schmidt & Gorges

Schmidt & Gorges is a photography duo based in Berlin, Germany. The two photographers, Jens Schmidt and Christian Gorges, have been working together since 2009.

Jens Schmidt was born in Berlin in 1982 and has been interested in photography since he was a child. He studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld and graduated with a degree in photography and media design. After graduating, he worked as a freelance photographer for several years before joining forces with Christian Gorges to form Schmidt & Gorges.

Christian Gorges was born in Berlin in 1984 and has been passionate about photography since his teenage years. He studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld and graduated with a degree in media design. After graduating, he worked as a freelance photographer for several years before joining forces with Jens Schmidt to form Schmidt & Gorges.

Since forming their partnership, Schmidt & Gorges have become renowned for their unique style of documentary-style photography that captures the beauty of everyday life. They specialize in portrait, wedding, event, and commercial photography and have worked with clients such as Adidas, Mercedes-Benz, Sony Music Entertainment Germany, and many more. Their work has been featured on numerous publications including Vogue Italia, Elle Magazine Germany, Stern Magazine Germany, and more.
