Sasha Oda is a Japanese-American photographer based in Los Angeles, California. She is known for her vibrant and colorful images that capture the beauty of everyday life.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Sasha moved to the United States at the age of five. She grew up in Los Angeles and developed an early interest in photography. After graduating from high school, she attended the Art Center College of Design where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography.
Since then, Sasha has become a sought-after photographer whose work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar. Her work has also been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
In addition to her commercial work, Sasha is also passionate about creating personal projects that explore themes such as identity and belonging. Her most recent project “The Colorful World” focuses on capturing moments of joy and beauty from around the world.
Sasha’s work has been recognized with numerous awards including a Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fine Art Photography and a Hasselblad Masters Award for her series “The Colorful World”.
