Rinaldo Sata is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. He has been working in the field of photography since the early 1990s, and his work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications around the world.

Rinaldo was born in Milan, Italy, in 1971. He studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, where he graduated with honors in 1995. After graduating, he began to work as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Italia, GQ Italia, Elle Italia, Marie Claire Italia, and many others.

In addition to his editorial work, Rinaldo has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity and memory. His series “The Memory of a Place” (2005) was exhibited at the Palazzo Reale di Milano and won him critical acclaim. In 2008 he was awarded the prestigious “Premio Internazionale di Fotografia” for his series “The Memory of a Place”.

Rinaldo's work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as the Palazzo Reale di Milano (Italy), The Photographers' Gallery (London), The Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), The Museum of Modern Art (New York), The National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa), and many others. He has also participated in numerous international festivals including Les Rencontres d'Arles (France), PhotoEspaña (Spain), PhotoIreland Festival (Ireland) and more.

Rinaldo's photographs have been collected by institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art (New York) and The National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa). He is currently represented by Galleria Carla Sozzani in Milan.
