Richard Bakker is a Dutch photographer who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over two decades. He has traveled extensively, visiting some of the most remote and beautiful places on earth. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian.
Bakker was born in Amsterdam in 1971 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. He developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at a young age. After graduating from high school, he studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
Throughout his career, Bakker has focused on capturing the beauty of nature and its inhabitants. His work often features animals in their natural habitats, as well as landscapes from around the world. He is particularly known for his stunning aerial shots of landscapes taken from helicopters or planes.
Bakker's work has been exhibited in galleries across Europe and North America, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He has also published several books featuring his photographs, including "The World Through My Eyes" (2005) and "The Beauty of Nature" (2009).
