Randall Slavin is an award-winning photographer and director based in Los Angeles. He has been shooting professionally for over 20 years, and his work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Esquire, and Rolling Stone.
Slavin was born in New York City and grew up in the suburbs of Long Island. He attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he studied photography and film. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in photography.
Slavin's work is known for its vibrant colors and unique perspectives. He has shot celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and many more. His work has also been featured in advertising campaigns for brands such as Nike, Adidas, Apple Music, Microsoft Xbox, and Samsung.
In addition to his commercial work, Slavin has also directed music videos for artists such as Maroon 5 and John Legend. He has also directed short films that have been screened at festivals around the world including the Tribeca Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
Slavin's work has earned him numerous awards including a Clio Award for Best Music Video Direction (for Maroon 5's "Sugar"), a Cannes Lion Award for Best Cinematography (for John Legend's "Love Me Now"), and a Webby Award for Best Music Video (for Maroon 5's "Animals").
In 2020 Slavin was named one of Variety Magazine’s “10 Cinematographers to Watch” list.
