Ramona Rosales is a Los Angeles-based photographer whose work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Vogue, and Vanity Fair. She is known for her vibrant and emotive portraiture, often featuring people of color and marginalized communities.
Rosales was born in Mexico City and moved to the United States when she was a young child. She grew up in Los Angeles, where she developed an interest in photography at an early age. After graduating from high school, she attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. There she studied photography and fine art, graduating with honors in 2006.
Since then, Rosales has established herself as one of the most sought-after portrait photographers in the industry. Her work has been featured on magazine covers and editorials for major publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Mexico, Vanity Fair Italy, and many more. She has also worked with celebrities such as Rihanna, Cardi B., and Selena Gomez.
In addition to her commercial work, Rosales is passionate about using her art to bring attention to social issues that are important to her. She has collaborated with organizations such as UNICEF and Amnesty International on projects that focus on human rights issues around the world. Her work has been exhibited at galleries across the United States and Europe.
Rosales currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children. When she’s not working on commercial projects or exhibiting her artwork, she enjoys spending time with her family or exploring new places around the world.
