Plamen Petkov is a Bulgarian photographer and visual artist who has been capturing the beauty of the world for over two decades. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1975, Petkov developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at a young age. He studied photography at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia and graduated with honors in 1998.
Since then, Petkov has become one of the most renowned photographers in Bulgaria, exhibiting his work around the world. His photographs have been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Guardian. He has also won numerous awards for his work including the Grand Prix at the International Photography Festival in Plovdiv and the Grand Prix at the International Photo Festival in Varna.
