Perry Ogden is an Irish photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing the beauty of the Irish landscape for over 30 years. He is best known for his work on the documentary Pavee Lackeen: The Traveller Girl, which won numerous awards including a BAFTA nomination.

Ogden was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1965 and grew up in a small village near the city. He developed an interest in photography at an early age, taking pictures of his family and friends with his father's old camera. After graduating from high school, he attended the National College of Art and Design in Dublin where he studied photography and film.

In 1989, Ogden began working as a freelance photographer for various publications including The Sunday Times Magazine, The Guardian, and The New York Times Magazine. His work has also been featured in numerous books such as A Sense of Place: Photographs from Ireland by Perry Ogden (1995) and Perry Ogden's Ireland (2002).

In 2004, Ogden released his first feature-length documentary Pavee Lackeen: The Traveller Girl which follows the story of a young girl living on the margins of Irish society. The film was critically acclaimed and won several awards including Best Documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh and a BAFTA nomination for Best Short Film.

Ogden continues to work as a freelance photographer and filmmaker today, capturing both still images and moving images of Ireland's unique landscapes. His work has been exhibited around the world including at the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin, Tate Modern in London, and MoMA in New York City.
