Pelle Lannefors is a Swedish photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing stunning images of the natural world for over two decades. Born in Stockholm in 1974, Lannefors developed an early interest in photography and filmmaking, which he pursued throughout his teenage years. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Gothenburg to study film and photography.
In 1998, Lannefors began his professional career as a freelance photographer and filmmaker. He quickly gained recognition for his work, which often focused on capturing the beauty of nature in its rawest form. His photographs have been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic and The New York Times Magazine.
In addition to his photography work, Lannefors has also directed several short films that have been screened at festivals around the world. His most recent film, “The Edge of Life” (2018), was nominated for Best Short Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Lannefors’s work has earned him numerous awards and accolades over the years, including a nomination for Best Cinematography at the European Film Awards in 2019. He continues to travel around the world to capture stunning images of nature’s beauty and share them with audiences everywhere.
