Patrizia Castiglione is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. She has been working in the field of photography since the early 1990s, and her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.

Castiglione's work is characterized by a strong sense of composition, often featuring bold colors and abstract shapes. Her photographs explore themes of identity, memory, and the human condition. She often uses her own body as a subject to explore these themes, creating self-portraits that are both intimate and powerful.

Castiglione's work has been featured in numerous publications, including Vogue Italia, Marie Claire Italia, Glamour Italia, Elle Italia, L'Uomo Vogue, and The New York Times Magazine. She has also collaborated with fashion designers such as Dolce & Gabbana and Versace.

In addition to her photography career, Castiglione is also an accomplished painter. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout Italy and Europe. She is also a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan where she teaches courses on photography and painting.

Castiglione's work has earned her numerous awards including the International Photography Award (IPA) for Best Fine Art Photographer in 2011 and the International Color Awards for Best Fine Art Photographer in 2012. In 2013 she was awarded the prestigious Premio Internazionale di Fotografia d'Autore by the Italian Ministry of Culture for her contribution to Italian photography.
