Patricia Bonet is a Spanish photographer and visual artist based in Barcelona. She is best known for her work in fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.
Bonet was born in Barcelona in 1975. She studied photography at the Escola d'Art i Disseny de Barcelona, where she graduated with a degree in photography and video. After graduating, she began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.
In 2004, Bonet was awarded the prestigious National Photography Prize by the Spanish Ministry of Culture for her work on the documentary series "The Invisible People". This series focused on the lives of people living in poverty in Spain. The series was exhibited at several galleries throughout Europe and received critical acclaim.
In 2006, Bonet released her first book of photographs entitled "The Invisible People". The book featured photographs from her documentary series as well as portraits of people living in poverty around the world. The book was widely praised for its powerful imagery and social commentary.
Since then, Bonet has continued to work as a freelance photographer for various publications and brands such as Vogue, Elle, GQ, Nike, Adidas, and many more. She has also exhibited her work at galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona and the International Center of Photography in New York City.
