Pablo Albacete is a Spanish photographer and visual artist based in Madrid. He is best known for his work in fashion, advertising, and editorial photography.
Born in Madrid in 1975, Pablo Albacete developed an early interest in photography and art. He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts of Madrid, where he specialized in photography. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.
In 2000, Pablo Albacete opened his own studio in Madrid and began to focus on fashion photography. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Marie Claire, and many others. He has also worked with some of the world's leading fashion brands such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, and more.
In addition to his commercial work, Pablo Albacete has also created several personal projects that explore themes such as identity and memory. His work has been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA), the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid (MNCARS), the National Museum of Photography in Mexico City (Museo Nacional de Fotografía), and more.
Pablo Albacete's work has been recognized with numerous awards including the International Photography Award (IPA) for Best Fashion Photographer of the Year (2009) and Best Advertising Photographer of the Year (2010). He was also named one of Spain's top photographers by PhotoEspaña magazine in 2011.
