Osman Ozel is a Turkish photographer and visual artist based in Istanbul. He is best known for his unique and creative approach to photography, which combines traditional techniques with modern digital technology.

Born in Istanbul in 1975, Osman developed an interest in photography at an early age. He studied photography at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, graduating with a degree in Photography and Visual Arts. After graduation, he began working as a freelance photographer, shooting for various magazines and newspapers.

In addition to his commercial work, Osman has also developed a strong portfolio of personal projects. His work often focuses on the beauty of everyday life in Turkey, exploring themes such as identity, culture and tradition. He has exhibited his work internationally, including at the Istanbul Biennial and the Venice Biennale.

Osman's work has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian and National Geographic. He has also been awarded several prestigious awards including the Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3) Gold Award for his series “The Anatomy of Istanbul” (2015).

Osman continues to push boundaries with his photography, creating unique images that capture the essence of life in Turkey. His work is a testament to his passion for capturing moments that are both beautiful and meaningful.
