Oleg Covian is a renowned photographer from Ukraine who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over two decades. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States, and his work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions.
Born in Kiev in 1975, Oleg developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at a young age. After graduating from high school, he attended the Kiev State Institute of Art where he studied photography and film. After graduating with honors, Oleg moved to Moscow to pursue a career as a professional photographer.
In Moscow, Oleg quickly established himself as one of the city's leading photographers. His work was featured in several magazines and newspapers, including Vogue Russia and The New York Times. He also had several solo exhibitions at galleries throughout Europe and the United States.
In addition to his commercial work, Oleg also pursued personal projects that focused on documenting everyday life in Russia during the turbulent 1990s. His photographs captured both the beauty and despair of life during this period of transition for Russia. These images were later compiled into a book titled "The Russian Soul".
Throughout his career, Oleg has continued to travel extensively while capturing stunning images of landscapes, people, and cultures around the world. He currently lives in Kiev with his wife and two children where he continues to pursue his passion for photography.
