Nick Saglimbeni is an award-winning photographer and director based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his work in fashion, beauty, and celebrity photography.
Saglimbeni was born in New York City and raised in the suburbs of Long Island. He developed an interest in photography at a young age, taking pictures of his friends and family with a Kodak Instamatic camera. After graduating high school, he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he studied photography and film.
In 2003, Saglimbeni moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional photographer. He quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after photographers in the city, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Vanity Fair. His work has also been featured on the covers of numerous publications including Rolling Stone and Sports Illustrated.
In addition to his commercial work, Saglimbeni has also directed several music videos for artists such as Rihanna and Justin Bieber. He has also directed several short films including “The Last Day” which won Best Short Film at the Los Angeles International Film Festival in 2011.
Saglimbeni’s work has been recognized by numerous awards including the Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Photography (2009) and the International Photography Awards (2010). In 2012 he was named one of PDN Magazine’s 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch.
