Mike Rosenthal is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He has been shooting professionally for over 20 years, and his work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, National Geographic, and TIME Magazine.
Mike was born in New York City and grew up in the suburbs of Long Island. He developed an interest in photography at a young age, and by the time he was a teenager he was already taking pictures of his friends and family. After graduating high school, Mike attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he earned a degree in photography.
After college, Mike moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career as a professional photographer. He quickly established himself as one of the top photographers in the city, shooting for major brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Reebok. His work has also been featured on television shows such as The Voice and America’s Got Talent.
In addition to commercial work, Mike is also an accomplished documentary filmmaker. His films have been screened at festivals around the world including Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival. His most recent film “The Last Race” won Best Documentary at the 2018 Los Angeles Film Festival.
Mike continues to push boundaries with his photography and filmmaking by exploring new techniques and technologies to create unique images that capture moments of beauty and emotion.
