Mike Piscitelli is an American photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his work in fashion, music, and advertising.
Piscitelli was born in New York City and grew up in the suburbs of Long Island. He attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he studied photography and film. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in photography.
Piscitelli's work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Nylon Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine. He has also shot campaigns for brands such as Nike, Adidas, Levi's, and Converse. His music video credits include collaborations with artists such as The Black Keys, The Killers, and The Strokes.
In addition to his commercial work, Piscitelli has also directed several short films that have been screened at festivals around the world. His most recent film project is a feature-length documentary about the life of legendary photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.
Piscitelli currently lives and works in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
