Michael Stocke is an award-winning photographer and visual artist based in the United States. He has been capturing stunning images of nature, landscapes, and people for over 20 years.
Michael was born in the small town of St. Louis, Missouri in 1975. He developed a passion for photography at an early age, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his dreams. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a degree in photography.
After college, Michael moved to New York City to pursue a career as a professional photographer. He quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after photographers in the city, shooting for magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. His work has also been featured in numerous galleries around the world.
In addition to his commercial work, Michael is also an avid landscape photographer who travels extensively throughout North America and Europe capturing breathtaking images of nature’s beauty. His work has been featured in several books and exhibitions including “The Art of Nature” at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., “The Natural World” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and “The Beauty of Nature” at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
Michael is also an active member of several professional organizations including The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and The National Association of Professional Photographers (NAPP). He currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two children where he continues to capture stunning images that inspire viewers around the world.
