Michael Del Buono is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He has been shooting professionally for over 20 years, and his work has been featured in publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
Del Buono was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx. He developed an interest in photography at a young age, and began taking pictures of his friends and family with a Kodak Instamatic camera. After graduating from high school, he attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan where he studied photography and filmmaking.
In the early 2000s, Del Buono moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional photographer. He quickly established himself as one of the city’s top photographers, shooting for clients such as Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, Apple, and many others. His work has been featured on billboards around the world as well as in magazines like Vogue and GQ.
Del Buono’s passion for photography extends beyond commercial work; he also enjoys shooting landscapes and street photography. His images have been exhibited at galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. In addition to his photographic work, Del Buono has directed several short films that have screened at film festivals around the world.
Del Buono continues to push boundaries with his photography by exploring new techniques and technologies such as drone photography and virtual reality imaging. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge with others through workshops and lectures at universities across the United States.
