Mazen Abusrour is a Palestinian photographer and visual artist based in Jerusalem. He was born in Jerusalem in 1982 and has been living there ever since. He studied photography at the International Academy of Art Palestine, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009.

Abusrour's work focuses on the Palestinian experience, exploring themes such as identity, displacement, and resistance. His photographs have been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, the Istanbul Biennial, and the Sharjah Biennial. His work has also been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, and Time Magazine.

Abusrour is a founding member of the photography collective Rawiya (“she who tells a story”), which was established in 2009 to create a platform for female photographers from the Middle East to share their stories. He is also an active member of the Palestinian Photography Association (PPA), which works to promote photography as an art form and to support photographers from Palestine.

In addition to his photographic work, Abusrour is also involved in various social projects that aim to empower young Palestinians through art and education. He has taught photography workshops for children living in refugee camps throughout Palestine and has collaborated with organizations such as UNICEF on projects that focus on youth development.

Abusrour's work has earned him numerous awards including the Prince Claus Award (2015) and the Magnum Foundation Human Rights Fellowship (2016). In 2017 he was named one of TIME Magazine's "30 Most Influential People on the Internet".
