Max Siedentopf is a German-born photographer and artist based in Namibia. He is best known for his vibrant and surreal images of the African landscape, which often feature animals, people, and other elements of nature.
Siedentopf was born in Germany in 1988 and moved to Namibia at the age of seven. He began taking photographs at a young age, inspired by the beauty of his new home. After completing his studies in photography at the University of Namibia, he began working as a freelance photographer for various publications and brands.
In 2013, Siedentopf released his first book, “The Namibian Landscape”, which featured some of his most iconic images from across the country. His work has since been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
In addition to photography, Siedentopf also works as an artist and filmmaker. His short films have been screened at festivals around the world and he has collaborated with brands such as Nike and Adidas on various projects. He is also an avid traveler who has visited over 30 countries across five continents.
