Max Papendieck is a German photographer and visual artist based in Berlin. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.
Max was born in Berlin in 1988 and grew up surrounded by the city's vibrant art scene. From an early age, he was drawn to photography and began experimenting with different techniques. After graduating from high school, he studied photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld. During this time, he developed his signature style of combining documentary and fashion elements into his work.
After graduating from university, Max moved back to Berlin and began working as a freelance photographer. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Germany, GQ Germany, Elle Germany, and Harper's Bazaar Germany. He has also collaborated with several brands such as Adidas, Nike, Hugo Boss, and Mercedes-Benz.
In addition to his commercial work, Max has also exhibited his photographs in galleries around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. His work has been praised for its unique blend of documentary realism and fashion-inspired aesthetics.
Max continues to live and work in Berlin where he is constantly pushing the boundaries of photography with each new project he takes on.
