Mathieu Fortin is a Canadian photographer based in Montreal, Quebec. He has been taking photographs since he was a child, and his passion for photography has only grown since then.
Fortin's work focuses on capturing the beauty of everyday life, from street scenes to landscapes. He has traveled extensively throughout Canada and the United States, as well as to Europe and Asia, in search of unique perspectives and moments to capture. His work has been featured in numerous publications, including National Geographic and The New York Times Magazine.
Fortin is also an avid educator, teaching workshops on photography and digital imaging at various institutions across Canada. He is a member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) and the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA).
In addition to his photography career, Fortin is also an accomplished musician who plays guitar and sings in several bands. He has released two albums under his own name: "The Road Ahead" (2015) and "The Journey Within" (2017).
