Martijn Senders is a Dutch photographer and visual artist based in Amsterdam. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of documentary, fashion, and fine art.

Senders was born in the Netherlands in 1983 and grew up in a small village near Amsterdam. He developed an interest in photography at an early age, and began taking pictures of his family and friends. After graduating from high school, he studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

During his studies, Senders developed a passion for documentary photography and began to explore the world around him through his lens. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, capturing images of everyday life with an eye for detail and composition. His work has been featured in numerous publications including Vogue Italia, GQ Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, and National Geographic.

In addition to his photographic work, Senders has also created several short films that have been screened at film festivals around the world. His most recent project is a series of photographs taken during his travels to India that explore the country’s culture and people.

Senders’ work has been exhibited internationally including shows at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. He continues to travel around the world capturing images that tell stories about people and places he encounters along the way.
