Marcus Meisler is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He has been shooting professionally since 2006 and has since become one of the most sought-after photographers in the industry. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, GQ, Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, and many more.
Meisler was born in Germany and moved to the United States at a young age. He attended the University of Southern California where he studied film production and photography. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and publications. His work quickly gained recognition for its unique style and composition.
In addition to his commercial work, Meisler also works on personal projects that explore themes of identity, culture, and social issues. He has traveled extensively throughout the world to capture his images which have been exhibited in galleries around the world. In 2017 he released his first book titled “The World Through My Eyes” which showcases some of his most iconic images from around the globe.
Meisler’s work has earned him numerous awards including a Lucie Award for International Photographer of the Year in 2018 and a Hasselblad Masters Award in 2019. He continues to push boundaries with his photography while inspiring others to do the same.
