Marat Mukhonkin

Marat Mukhonkin is a Russian photographer and visual artist based in Moscow. He is best known for his unique and creative approach to photography, which often combines elements of surrealism, abstraction, and symbolism.

Mukhonkin was born in Moscow in 1982. He studied at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, where he received a degree in photography. After graduating, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers. In 2008, he was awarded the prestigious Golden Camera Award for his work on the documentary film "The Last Day of Summer".

Mukhonkin's work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
