Manon Boyer is a French photographer and visual artist based in Paris. She is known for her unique and captivating images that explore the relationship between people and their environment.
Boyer was born in Paris in 1988, and grew up surrounded by art and culture. She studied photography at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France, where she graduated with honors in 2011. After graduating, she began to work as a freelance photographer, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, and Elle.
Boyer’s work has been exhibited around the world, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Her photographs have also been featured in numerous publications such as The New Yorker, The Guardian, and The New York Times Magazine.
In addition to her photography career, Boyer is also an active member of the art community. She has served on the jury of several international photography competitions and has been a guest lecturer at universities around Europe. In 2020 she was awarded the Prix Pictet for her series “The Human Condition” which explored how humans interact with their environment through technology.
