Luiza Potiens is a Brazilian photographer and visual artist based in São Paulo. She has been working in the field of photography since 2009, when she graduated from the University of São Paulo with a degree in Visual Arts.

Her work focuses on the exploration of identity, memory, and the human condition. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, the Museum of Contemporary Art in São Paulo, and the International Center for Photography in New York City.

In addition to her photographic work, Luiza is also an accomplished filmmaker. Her films have been featured at film festivals around the world, including Cannes Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival. She has also directed several music videos for Brazilian artists such as Seu Jorge and Criolo.

Luiza's work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Vogue Brazil, and National Geographic Magazine. She has also received numerous awards for her photography, including a Lucie Award for Fine Art Photography in 2017.

Luiza is passionate about using her art to explore themes of identity and memory. Through her work she hopes to create meaningful connections between people from different backgrounds and cultures.
