Luca Bellumore is an Italian photographer and visual artist based in Milan. He is known for his unique style of photography, which combines elements of fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography.
Bellumore was born in Milan in 1985 and grew up surrounded by art and culture. His father was a painter and his mother a sculptor, so it was only natural that he developed an interest in the visual arts from an early age. He began taking photographs at the age of 15, using a simple point-and-shoot camera to capture the beauty of everyday life around him.
In 2006, Bellumore enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan to study photography. During this time he developed his own unique style of photography, combining elements of fashion, portraiture, and documentary photography to create stunning images that capture the essence of his subjects. After graduating from the Academy in 2010, he began working as a freelance photographer for various magazines and publications.
Over the years Bellumore has become well known for his work with fashion brands such as Gucci, Prada, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana. He has also worked with celebrities such as Madonna and Lady Gaga on their music videos and album covers. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
Today Bellumore continues to push boundaries with his photography by exploring new techniques and experimenting with different mediums such as video art and digital manipulation. His work is highly sought after by both commercial clients and private collectors alike.
