Lu Yanfu (born in 1962) is a Chinese photographer and visual artist. He is best known for his unique and creative approach to photography, which combines traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern techniques.
Born in Beijing, Lu Yanfu began his career as a photographer in the 1980s. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where he developed an interest in photography and began experimenting with different techniques. After graduating, he worked as a freelance photographer for various magazines and newspapers.
In the 1990s, Lu Yanfu began to focus on creating his own personal work. His photographs often feature traditional Chinese elements such as landscapes, architecture, and people.
