Lorenz Schmidl is a renowned Austrian photographer who has been capturing stunning images of the world around him for over two decades. Born in Vienna in 1971, he developed an early interest in photography and began taking pictures at the age of 14. After completing his studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, he went on to pursue a career as a professional photographer.

Throughout his career, Lorenz has traveled extensively to capture stunning images from all corners of the globe. His work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, GEO Magazine, and The New York Times Magazine. He has also exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

In addition to his photographic work, Lorenz is also an accomplished author and lecturer. He has written several books on photography and regularly gives lectures on the subject at universities and other institutions around Europe. He is also a member of several professional organizations such as the Association of Photographers (AOP) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
