Liu Cheng Hsiang is a Taiwanese photographer and visual artist. He was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1975 and has been living and working in the city ever since.
Liu Cheng Hsiang's work focuses on the relationship between people and their environment, often exploring themes of identity, memory, and nostalgia. His photographs are characterized by a strong sense of composition and color, as well as an eye for detail. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the world, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Taipei, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, and the International Center of Photography in New York City.
In addition to his photography practice, Liu Cheng Hsiang is also an active member of the Taiwanese art community. He has served as a judge for several photography competitions, including the Taipei International Photo Festival and the Golden Pin Design Award. He is also a founding member of the Taiwan Photographers Association.
Liu Cheng Hsiang's work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, TIME Magazine, Vogue Italia, Harper's Bazaar China, Elle China, Marie Claire China, Esquire China, GQ China and many more.
