Levon Muradian is an Armenian-American photographer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his vibrant and colorful images of the urban landscape, often featuring bold colors and abstract shapes.
Born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1983, Levon was raised in a family of photographers. His father was a professional photographer and his mother was an amateur photographer. From a young age, Levon was exposed to the art of photography and developed a passion for it. He began taking pictures at the age of 12 and soon after began to experiment with different techniques and styles.
In 2002, Levon moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a professional photographer. He quickly established himself as one of the city’s most sought-after photographers, shooting for magazines such as Vogue, GQ, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and many more. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and the Tate Modern in London.
Levon’s work is characterized by its vivid colors and abstract shapes that capture the energy of urban life. His photographs often feature people from diverse backgrounds interacting with their environment in unique ways that reflect their individual personalities. Through his work he seeks to capture moments that are both beautiful and meaningful.
Levon continues to push boundaries with his photography by exploring new techniques such as digital manipulation and 3D printing. He also works on various projects outside of photography such as video art installations and interactive media experiences.
Levon’s work has been recognized by numerous awards including the International Photography Awards (IPA) for Best Fine Art Photographer (2015) and Best Photojournalist (2016). He has also been featured on various television shows such as The Today Show (NBC), Good Morning America (ABC), The Ellen DeGeneres Show (NBC), among others.
